Private Mont Saint-Michel trip from Paris Calvados tasting

07:30  Hotel Pick up and departure destination Normandy. There are 360 km to drive on a highway from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel. It takes 4 to 4,5 hours. After 1,5 hours a short stop at a rest area for coffee break will be made. The next stop will be made at the Calvados distillery.

10:15 - 11:15 Calvados Tasting at local producer Calvados Pere Magloire

10:15 After 2,5 hours drive we will make a stop for Calvados tasing with animated show about Normandy's history and Calvados production secrets.
11:15 Departure to Mont Saint-Michel.

13:00 Arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage Mont Saint-Michel, located in Normandy on the border to Brittany. Benedictine Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel visit. As a rule we manage to join the Guided visit organised by the Abbey itself. When ii is not possible we provide audio-guides for the Abbey's visit.

Our guide-driver bring you up the narrow streets of the medieval village toward the top to the Abbey. On the top of the Island, you can admire panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and bay. First settled by man in the year 709 it contains Medieval village & beautiful Abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey started in the 700’s and continued through the 1200s. It remains practically the same since the Middle Ages as it was the goal of pilgrims from all over the world. Mont Saint Michel remains the most visited site in France.
After the Abbey visit You'll have free time to enjoy Mont Saint-Michel city and time for Lunch.

17:00 Departure from Mont Saint Michel back to Paris. It takes about 4 hours. One stop will be made at the rest area.  

21:30 Coming back to Paris. Drop off at Palais Garnier or at Your hotel if option booked.
