12:00 - 14:00  Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

14:00 - 15:30 English Guided tour by Champagne de Castellane. Cellars visit to discover the method of Champagne making and learn more about the history of Champagne making. Walking to the roof with panoramic views over the region. 
15:30 Departure to Hautvillers - a small historical village on the top of the hills. It takes about 10 minutes (6 km).

15:45 - 16:15  Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe d'Hautvillers (Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers). It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village.
