Itinerary

07:30 Meeting in Paris

07:30 Pickup from your hotel. Departure destination Champagne region. The ride takes about 2 hours (140 km) and one part of it goes along the picturesque Champagne landscapes and vineyards. One stop at a rest area will be made.

 

10:00 - 10:45  Tasting at Champagne Chateau Boursault 

10:00 - 10:45  Visit at the local family producer Champagne Chateau Boursault located on the top of the hills producing Champagne since several generations. Tasting of 3 Glass of Champagne with explanations. During the tasting of 3 glasses of Champagne You will get explanations about the family history and Champagne production. You will have time to walk to the Castle and see the vineyards inside the walls of the Chateau.
10:45 Departure to Epernay (10 km). It takes about 15 minutes.
Attn. On Sundays Champagne Chateau Boursault is closed. So we will offer You another local Champagne producer.

12:30 - 14:00  Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.
14:00  Departure to Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. It takes 15 minutes (7 km).

 

14:15 - 15:45  Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte

14:15 - 15:45  Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. Guided tour though the Cellars made by the local staff gives You great insight into the history and Champagne production method. Tasting of 3 glasses of Champagne completes this experience.
15:45 Departure to Hautvillers. It takes 20 minute (12 km).

 

16:00 - 16:30 The Abbey's Church of Sindulphe d'Hautviller

16:00 - 16:30  Hautvillers. Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village.
Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
