12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break in Épernay at a local classical French restaurant. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne surrounded by the wine hills it is Home to many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for wine and champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village. It takes 10 minutes (6 km).

13:40 - 14:10 Best Viewpoint in Hautvillers

13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village.
